Sažetak
In this, for us traditional culture present at large areas, chemical measures of weed suppression are today carried out on almost completely sown areas. With the use of herbicides in combat against weed one or more cultivations are used only on a smaller area because of lack and price of work force and earthing up. Suppression of pest is carried out on a lesser part of the area and mainly against wireworms and cutworms. In the last few years the number of corn rootworms has also increased, so on a smaller area there have been records of corn rootworms larva damage. The basic way of suppressing it is avoiding harvest on the infected areas and as greater intervals among harvests as possible. To achieve full effectiveness in suppressing pest and weed and in avoiding resistance, it is essential to be familiar with the preparations used for this purpose. The time and way of usage, doses, mechanisms of performance, range of effectiveness, and other information relevant to its application can be found in this supplement for all farmers and corn producers.
