Sažetak
The article presents a health index calculation method based on easily
obtainable periodical oil condition data. The algorithm is tested on a
population of 96 transformers working in the Polish power grid. The outcomes are compared with the expert analysis conducted with the use of much more advanced methods. The results show that an effective simplification of the initial assessment criteria can achieve satisfactory efficiency if the choice of weighting criteria for the selected parameters
is appropriate.
