Sažetak
Satellite mission GOCE is a part of the new generation of ESA satellite program with Earth exploration topics. The goal of the mission is global, high resolution model of Earth gravity field. GOCE is the first satellite gravity gradiometry (SGG) mission. Sophisticated three axes gravity gradiometer in low orbit will give high frequency Earth gravity field information, and inclination of 96,5° will insure almost global coverage of data. GOCE gravity field modelling data will be elements of SGG tensor and SST disturbances of GOCE satellite orbit. GOCE data will give global geoid with 1 cm uncertainty and gravity anomalies with 1 mGal uncertainty in 100 km resolution. GOCE mission has interdisciplinary character and the main influences are expected in oceanography, geodesy, solid Earth and glaciology. GOCE will influence development of geodesy in: GPS levelling, unification of global heights, inertial navigation and modelling of satellite orbits.
