Sažetak
The aim of this investigations to determine whether a correlation exists between various types of muscular effort (isometric, ballistic and repetitive) and elementary biomotoric dimensions (power, speed and endurance). The muscles studied were the flexor muscles of the fingers of the non-dominant hand. Each of twelve male and twelve female experimental groups of 20-30 school students aged 17 years was subjected over 28 days to one of twelve experimental variables consisting of different combinations of type of muscular effort, length of effort and degree of loading.
The results of the experimental groups in comparison to untreated controls suggest the following conclusions:
- none of the experimental treatments had any effect on neuromuscular reactions;
- each experimental treatment led to significant improvement of all measured muscular potrentiale;
- more than 24 hours elapsed before appearance of hypercompensation;
-. females showed greater improvement in variables with greater loading, while males showed greater improvement in variables with longer length of effort;
- each experimental treatment reulted in significant improvement in power, speed and endurance
