Abstract
The paper discusses the possibility as well as the justification for construction of a diamond wire sawing plant driven by a tandem (pulley) drive. The theoretical proposition for the so operated plant has been herewith elaborated. Calculations are set as an example to prove the advantages which may be accomplished in excavation of dimension stone by so driven diamond wire sawing plant.
