Abstract

The paper deals with behaviors that most often lead to serious traffic accidents. These behaviors are categorized as misdemeanors. In addition to the analysis of these violations in the last ten years, the research part of the paper analyzes the data collected by the public opinion poll (2072 respondents) on the state of traffic safety, behavior and habits of the participants themselves. The aim of this analysis and research was
to determine whether there is a difference in the criminal behavior of road users with regard to previous experience in punishment and based on the results to determine measures to strengthen road safety and reduce traffic accidents (criminal offenses and misdemeanors).
