Sažetak
In the centre of interest of Nikola Buble's article, Supplement of getting to
know the culture of music in the church community of Split, are the musical
repertoires of the parish churches. The latter could be, as the author affirms,
displayers of various elements, interesting cause / consequence relations that
direct to the process of forming momentary cultures of music of the
con~regation in the church community of Split.
In the sense of manifesting qualities in the article, repertoires of 25 parish church
choirs are classified, based an analysis in 6 groups that are by
judgment about the characteristics of the compositions that make them
proclaimed as:
1) Excellent, 2) Good, 3) Satisfactory, 4) Fair, 5) Fair / unsatisfactory, 6)
Unsatisfactory.
The author submits the main non-musical and musical features of every
group. In the conclusion, there are many valuable facts that are enclosed that
( depending if they would be treated with importance) can result in positive
shifts regarding all the musical culture in the community of churches in
Split. The author remarks that a little special sensibility is needed in
understanding cultural differences between individuals and groups of people.
