Sažetak

Aortic regurgitation (AR) is a state of excessive blood return from the aorta to the left ventricle (LV) during diastole. Surgical therapy of AR includes valve-sparing surgery (AVRep) with or without root and ascending aorta replacement or valve replacement (AVR).
