Sažetak
The paper looks at the number of victims in the world from various natural disasters and the ways to prevent or reduce them. Then the mechanisms and causes of the following natural disasters are explained: earthquakes, stormy winds, waves (and tsunamis), floods, landslides, fires, volcanoes, meteors, and specific examples are given.
