Abstract

Pathological conditions of rabbit teeth are very common in daily clinical practice and often result in dysfunction of the organs belonging to the digestive and respiratory systems, with a possible fatal outcome. Therefore, special attention should be devoted to early diagnostics to enable timely treatment and prevent complications. Radiological diagnostics is a simple, fast and unavoidable procedure in the assessment of dental conditions. However, unlike other mammal species, radiological examination of rabbit teeth is characterised by certain specificities in examination techniques and radiograph interpretation, presented in detail in this paper.
