Intake structure of ground water of the "Učka" tunnel

Sažetak
Within the scope of the tunneling project of "Učka" the intake structure of ground water concerning necessities of the city of Opatija and its surroundings has been realized. Considering the short term allowed for the tunnel construction the water system is planned and concreted at a somewhat lower level than ideal with respect to altitude. This is why the research works of the underground flow proceeded. It was aimed both at full usage of the water reserve potential and saving of the electric energy needed to rise the water at the level of water conduit in the tunnel. Geodetic measurements are essential for these research works.
