The breeding of the Griffon vulture Gyps fulvus in the Učka Nature Park

Abstract
The breeding of the Griffon vulture Gyps fulvus in the Učka Nature Park has been confirmed
for the first time after 1917. Near Krvava stijena in the Učka Nature Park a group of
Griffon Vultures was observed on 2nd May 2 2022. One nest with a young bird was found
on 27th May 2022. Another two nests with young birds were found on 8th June and 28th
June 2022.
