Congenital diaphragmatic hernia and horseshoe kidney in an aborted foal

Abstract

Congenital anomalies occur rarely in horses and often involve multiple organs and tissues. This brief case report describes the macroscopic and histological findings of a diaphragmatic hernia and horseshoe kidneys in an aborted foal.
