Abstract
In the third part of this study, the following animals are described as deities, mythical beings or monsters: monkeys, bears, hippopotami, rams, dogs, spiders, birds and fish. Most often, birds are worshipped either in their original form or depicted with the body parts of humans and different animals (hybrids), followed by fish, dogs and bears. According to their characteristics, these animals were symbols of strength, longevity (monkeys), courage (bear), pregnancy and motherhood (hippo), strength and masculinity (ram), vigilance and fidelity (dog), and finally, the correlation of life and death (fish).
