Sažetak

Proper and balanced nutrition with adequate intake of all necessary nutrients are important for
optimal growth and development of the infant, but also for the health of nursing women.The
questionnaire survey was conducted among a group of nursing mothers, from birth to the
child's age of 6 months, with the aim of gaining insight into their living and eating habits. The
methods of descriptive statistics and comparing the results with similar studies in other
countries have obtained some similarities, but also differences. It is very important to take
proper nutrition and have healthy habits, as well as their compliance.
