First Year of Nonsmoking School in Pozega

Abstract

Nonsmoking school in Pozega started working one year ago with the idea to help smoker's during
period of apstinence. Regarding that we treat smokers as patients (ICD X, F17), we wanted to offer
appropriate help to interested smokers within health sistem. Program of School is based on
modification of program "Breathe free plan to stop smoking" and cognitive­bihevioral aproach. School
had 7 groups of participants and most of them (64,3%) successsfully stopped smoking.
