Position and Involvement of Women in Rowing in Croatia

Sažetak
This paper tends to present the position and involvement of women in rowing in Croatia. The aim of the paper is to examine the position, or the change in the position of women rowers, and their (non) inclusion. The research questions that guided the author were the following ones: What are the possible reasons for women’s non-inclusion in rowing? Has the position of women changed throughout history? Ethnographic methods of interviews and observation with participation were used to provide research material for the analysis. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with two long-term recreational rowers and their coach.
