Sažetak
Recognizing that many of the main characters in the new Croatian drama are drafted as socially marginalized persons, thrown out of the »normal« way of life, the article is centered on the questions how they are presented in specific situations and how they conceptualize their resistance as an alternative way of life. In relationship to their position, which is evocated by different social, political, economic and other reasons, but also by traditional models of living together, the character‘s perspectives differ concerning their ethic principles and their own identity. The contribution deals with texts by Tena Štivičić, Dubravko Mihanović, Ivan Vidić and Amir Bukvić which attracted attention also abroad.
