Abstract

The association between low health literacy and poorer health outcomes indicates the need to improve patient access to healthcare. The lack of effective communication between patients and healthcare providers hinders health functioning. Therefore, it is essential to emphasize the need for awareness and implementation of approaches tailored to different levels of health literacy to ensure quality care for all patients.
