Sažetak

This paper analyses the development of cadastre from paper to computer, from 2D mapping to 4D spatial data modelling, as well as the development of cadastre from primarily tax based to multi-purpose cadastre. The further development of the cadastre up to the land administration system was also reviewed. The paper also presents the development of the data models and the ISO standard Land Administration Domain Model (LADM) as a basis for the development of the land administration systems. To investigate trends, a bibliometric analysis of scientific publications was made, thereby comparing the development of the research on land administration system in relation to the cadastre, as well as the role and importance of the LADM standard in the development of the land administration systems. A bibliometric analysis was performed on 1,948 scientific publications related to the topic of cadastre, 957 scientific publications related to the topic of land administration, and 192 scientific publications on the topic of the LADM norm collected from the Scopus citation database. The research showed the growth of the topic of land administration in relation to the cadastre, as well as the importance of the LADM standard in research concerned land administration.
