Donation from the family library of academician Nenad Trinajstić in the Library of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts

Abstract

With the aim of contributing to the current knowledge about the forms of acquisition of materials in libraries and the formation of separate collections in their holdings, the paper presents the inclusion of a part of the family library of the late academician Nenad Trinajstić, one of the most cited Croatian chemists, in the fund of the Library of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, one of the richest special libraries in Croatia. In addition to the physical collection, the virtual collection Donations from the Family Library of academician Nenad Trinajstić was also presented, which combines bibliographic records of processed monographs (books and proceedings) and works within them, searchable in the Library's e-catalogue.
