Permittivity in the microwave region of some silicate and ferrite minerals at low pressures

Abstract

The dielectric permittivity and attenuation of some silicate and ferrite minerals have been measured at very low pressures in the microwave region at 8.63 GHz using a standing wave method. Both dielectric permittivity and attenuation caused by the inserted sample are increased by inscreasing the pressure.
