Sažetak

At the end of 2022, a new Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity and the Act on Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Science were adopted. The Ordinance on the Evaluation Procedure of Study Programmes
of the University of Zagreb is based on these acts. It entered into force in May 2024 and, among other things, introduces changes to the procedures for evaluating amendments to study programmes. The process of amending study programmes enables their continuous adaptation to the national and international standards of the quality assurance system in the field of higher education, and represents a response to the increasingly demanding needs of the labour market. This text seeks to clarify in more detail the specific provisions of the Ordinance that regulate the area of amendments to study programmes.
