Sažetak

The topic of the Sharia legal treatment of fruits and vegetables grown using organic fertilizers of animal
origin encompasses a significant aspect of Islamic law, considering the impact of these practices on food
safety and hygiene standards. Organic fertilizers, including compost, manure, and dried blood, play a
crucial role in improving soil fertility and product quality. The use of dried blood as fertilizer is a subject
of particular discussion among Sharia scholars, as it is often considered impure, and its application depends
on the source and type of animals.
The Sharia treatment of animals whose meat, milk, and eggs serve as sources of nutrients also requires
careful consideration. The right to food and hygiene is closely linked to the type of animals, their feeding,
and farming methods. Through an analysis of these elements, we explore how Sharia principles apply to
organic products and their impact on practices and legal norms in modern agriculture.
