The idea of the transcendental subject in pedagogy

Sažetak
Determining the pedagogical subject is one of the central problems of pedagogy which is trying to be systematically founded and built. On the one hand, the pedagogical subject is shown to be the origin of the system of pedagogical science, since it is precisely in the idea of the subject that the possibility and necessity of pedagogical action is found, and on the other hand, it is shown to be the purpose of pedagogical activity, since in autonomously understood pedagogy, we do not educate for something outside of human being, but for human being himself. In context of our times where subject is thought of as a fluid category, the paper raises the question of whether it is possible to establish pedagogy on a completely fluid concept of the subject, and whether the pedagogical subject can still be thought of today (with full awareness of the pedagogical dangers of the final determination of the subject in the context of the purpose pedagogy) in a way that is both determined and absolutely open to all its possibilities. Kant’s ideas about pedagogy, and even more – Kant’s philosophy itself, which opens up specific paths in thinking about subject, certainly represents a new birth of pedagogical thinking, which is the path we are trying to follow in this work.
