MEMORIAL ATELIER OF ZVONKO CAR

Sažetak

Academic sculptor Zvonko Car, an art pedagogue and a public worker (1913. - 1982., died in his birthplace Crikvenica), is an author of numerous public monuments in the region of the city of Crikvenica, Vinodol’s Primorje, Rijeka and Opatija. City of Crikvenica and the Cultural Association «Dr. Ivan Kostrenčić» renewed his sculptor’s atelier and in 2007., in the commemoration of the Day of the City, opened a permanent exhibition of his work. The space was shaped by a respected designer from Rijeka Vesna Rožman. The collection entails almost 50 years of Car’s art work, from 1933. to almost the end of his life. In the spirit of the newly decorated Memorial atelier various art workshops are planned.
