Technology of nitrogen (N) fertilization in organic agricultural production

Abstract

Nitrogen (N) is an important element for achieving yields in organic agricultural production. Since mineral forms of nitrogen cannot be used in organic production, agricultural producers must turn to other technologies and use new technological solutions that are compatible with organic farming. These include the application of organic-mineral fertilizers with a higher nitrogen content, the application of nitrogen bacteria, and the cultivation of leguminous crops. This ensures sufficient nitrogen for the growth of leaves and fruits, and higher yields in organic agricultural production.
