Abstract

Adult education in the European Union is a crucial element in thedevelopment of human resources and in enhancing competitiveness in thelabor market. This paper analyzes the supply and demand for adult educationprograms in the EU, identifies key trends, challenges, and opportunities, andprovides recommendations for the improvement of these programs. Througha review of the literature, data analysis, and case studies from severalmember states, this paper demonstrates how adult education contributes tosocial inclusion, economic development, and the improvement of populationcompetencies. The conclusions suggest that further investment and adaptationof educational policies are necessary to ensure the accessibility and quality ofeducation for all adults in the EU.
