Sažetak
The Higher Education Alliance for Innovative Healthcare (HEAL-4-ALL) is an international initiative involving six partner institutions from Croatia, Norway, Belgium, and Finland. Its goal is to improve higher education in the field of healthcare. The project is implemented within the Erasmus+ programme (KA220-HED) and runs from October 2024 to October 2026. The primary objective of the project is to develop an innovative curriculum and educational tools that integrate the concept of existential well-being into healthcare education, while also enhancing the digital competencies required for modern teaching and learning. The project is based on collaboration among European universities jointly developing an interdisciplinary educational programme that connects health sciences with social sciences and the humanities. Special emphasis is placed on incorporating existential dimensi-ons of health, promoting social responsibility, and fostering cooperation with non-governmental organizations as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. Through the application of innovative educational practices, the project seeks to enhance connections between academia, professionals, and providers of health and social services. Supporting older adults is a central focus, as care for the aging population represents one of the major challenges facing contemporary Europe. HEAL-4-ALL contributes to the de-velopment of new educational models that focus on empathy, cross-sectoral collaboration, and an ethical approach to health. The overall aim is to support the creation of a more sustainable, inclusive, and humane healthcare system in Europe.
