Abstract

Thinking about tenderness of God's love one must take into consideration the human body as its mediator. We have to consider the oldest anthropological tradition in the Bible. According to that tradition the human body is the expression of the human being as a whole - it expresses the connection that exists between the person and his creator in the nature and society. Communicative functions of the senses are also stressed in the communication of love between God and man. Jesus Christ who had become this body appealed to the senses, especially towards the sick, the poor, the sinners, women and children. He openly shows great compassion for everybody, even for those who do not accept him and who hate him.
