Abstract

This paper presents the results of the survey and excavations carried out on Cape Rastovac near Povljana on the island of Pag in 2015 and 2016. During this period, several archaeologically interesting locations were found and a sandy mound was investigated in which a limekiln and the remains of three skeletons were discovered. On the surface of the mound, in the limekiln itself and around it, there were numerous fragments of Romanperiod construction material. Since the limekiln was used up, only the remains of its structure, traces of burning and waste stone material remain. Several pieces of fragmented human bones were found inside the limekiln, while two more deceased persons were buried right next to it, on the south side.
