The arming of rebel Serbs in the Municipality of Podravska Slatina

Sažetak
In the article, the author analyzes the illegal arming of rebel Serbs in the territory of the former Municipality of Podravska Slatina, according to the political-territorial state structures of the Republic of Croatia, that had been valid until 1992. The Municipality of Podravska Slatina should have been the western border of the so-called Greater Serbia, according to the Greater Serbian state creators. From mid-1990 to mid-August 1991 the illegal arming of rebel Serbs in the Municipality of Podravska Slatina had been carried out by the members of the Yugoslav People’s Army, eg. by the supporters of the concept of Greater Serbia among the officers and non-commissioned officers stationed in Ivo Jovo Marinković Barracks of Našice and in the 42nd Border Battalion of the 32nd Mechanized Corps of the Land Forces of the Yugoslav People’s Army, being a military unit attached to the Virovitica Garrison of the Yugoslav People’s Army.
