EMPLOYEE RIGHTS FROM FIRST EMPLOYMENT TO RETIREMENT
Nikola Muslim
Abstract
Frequent changes in state regulations governing the labour system pose a threat to employee rights. These rights are not the source of economic and social depression. On the contrary, observance of employee rights, irrespective of the type of ownership, may in fact greatly foster progress and development.
The paper presents the labour situation in its international aspects and the situation in the state labour system of the Republic of Croatia, and focuses on the sources of employee rights and constitutional principles of social security. In addition, it reviews legislation and recommends the introduction of a more adequate and more rational labour system in the country. Attached is the catalogue of employee rights with explanation and an instruction to readers.
