Marko Marulić in Austrian Libraries

Abstract

The author continues to assemble data concerning examples of editions of Marulić’s books that are kept in the Germanophone region. After discovering more than 500 copies kept in 83 libraries in Germany, he has now carried out a survey of Austrian libraries and has ascertained that in that country 41 libraries have 179copies of various works by Marulić, most of them being in Vienna (70 copies)and Klagenfurt (29 copies).
