Influence and Significance of Water in the industry of Zagreb

Abstract

Based on statistical, mathematical and graphical methods, this paper presents the role and the importance of water for industry of Zagreb. The importance of groundwater storage for the population water supply and industry is strongly emphasized. The significance of water for industry is considered dually: water as an essential factor in processing and an effluent as the main pollutant of streams and groundwater.
