The Research of the Characteristics of Italian Oak Management (Quercus frainetto Ten) in the Požega Region

Abstract
Environmental, biological and phytocenological characteristics of the Italian oak on the southern slopes of Krndija mountain had in the past Kitaibel (1808.), Hirc (1900.), Fukarek (1964.), Trinajstić et al (1996.), Vukelić and Rauš (1998.), Najvirt and Puača (1998.), Krakar and Benčić (2008.) reasarhed. Zelić (2003., 2004., 2005., 2006.) resarched dendrometrical, biometrical and some economic characteristics of Italian oak. On the basis of preliminary investigations (double entry and entry volume tables (tariffs) and assortiment tables for italian oak), researcher calculeted the indicator mengement of economic effcacy for concrete example that the Italian oak assotiation in the department 108c, menagment unit „Južna Krndija kutjevačka“. It was calculeted the present value of logging regular Italian oak stands (95 years) per hectare (286,88 kn/ m3), the price of stem wood (125,42 kn/m3), and the point of profitably or break-even point, 60 years old, when the assotiation was. It is proposed some matematical-statistical functions for easy calculation of the current value felling, or the price of stem wood, for example, Št = -214,772 + 5,481 n + 0,020 n2 . The parameter (n) in formula datermine age of italian oak association. Proposed methods for calculating the economic efecctivness menagement make use for sale of the stem wood or applay for compesation for alienated rights (the forest and public comunications, electric lines, pipelines, hydro-engineering...).
