Position holders in the prevention of consequences of premature loss of primary teeth

Abstract

Two cases of secondary crowding in the madible consequential to premature loss of primary teeth in the region canine-first molar are described. Therapy aimed at provding the space lost was performed by fixed orthodontic treatment and lasted for about a year.
