An analysis was weather 23rd and 24 July Synoptic and mesoscale analysis showed that over the northern Adriatic to time influenced anticyclone centered over central Europe and the cyclone centered over southern Italy which caused pronounced east and northeast flow-advekciju storm with cold air. The analysis of the wind on a smaller scale, it is shown that the time of the fire were fluctuations in wind speed, which is typical for a storm. But as the storm weakened there have been major changes in the short-term direction of the wind, because of the influence of the local orography became more pronounced. Therefore we can say that in the beginning after the outbreak of the dominant influence on fire behavior had the strongest winds. With the weakening storm brief but pronounced changes in wind direction are further influenced the movement of the fire front, and the fire was localized only when the storm weakened considerably.
