Abstract

Dental cements differ from one another by the degree of temperature
they develop during hardening and by the changes occurring in their volumes. Therefore, from the prosthetic point of view, one can speak of differences in their qualities. Experiments were conducted to determine the deformations of the following cements: Cegal (Galenika), Harvard, Translit (Merz-Dental) and Keta-Cem (Espe). By means of an inductive LVDT sensor and Pt-100 temperature sensor electric units were recorded and dimensional and temperature changes determined. The results obtained allow conclusions on the value of the applicability of different cements.
