Abstract
In this article we have described the possibilities of the robotic total station Topcon Imaging Station IS-3 for the use in terrestrial laser scanning. Scanning the statue of Dražen Petrović was performed nearby the Cibona tower in Zagreb. Description of the whole fieldwork procedure from preparing data to scanning is included. After processing the data, a 3D model of the statue was made. Programs that were used to make the 3D model are: Topcon ImageMaster, MeshLab and Geomagic Wrap 2012. The analysis of the data after scanning is given too, with reference on the advantage and lack of using total stations for the need in terrestrial scanning. The final result is a 3D model of the statue which is processed and presented by the software Google SketchUp and the Google Earth
application.
