Abstract

This paper is a brief introduction to the history of Jewish settlement in Varazdin Generality and Bjelovar brings results Commemorative ceremony on the occasion of the opening of the newly built synagogue 19th rujna 1881st in Bjelovar (Zur Geschichte der jüdischen Cultusgemeinde Belovar
(Kroatien)) written by the famous Jewish scholar Moritz Grunwald, who was the rabbi of Bjelovar 1881st to 1884th year.
