Abstract
The paper presents the control calculation of geometry, load and contact stress of conical gear pair teeth in the MechSoft.com UniTools software for the exit moment T2 = 70 Nm, number of drive bevel gear teeth z1 = 16, number of driven bevel gear teeth z2 = 48, module m = 5 and the material of the drive and driven bevel gear GGG 60 (nodular cast iron). Based on the existing 2D documentation in cast construction, a 3D model of the conical gear pair was designed in the Power Transmission module of the SolidWorks software. Furthermore, using the advanced design tools, other parts were made and assembled in a reconstructed 3D assembly of a single-stage conical gearbox. Thereafter, a control stress test of drive gear shaft was carried out in the SimulationXpress Analysis Wizard software.
