Ballovent set in diagnostics and therapy for nasality and hypernasality in children with orofacial clefts

Abstract

The aim of this research was to examine the efficiency of Ballovent set in diagnostics and speech therapy in children with cleft lip and palate and hyperrhinophonia. We observed over a three-month period, the implementation of Ballovent set in speech therapy of five
children with cleft lip and palate and hyperrhinophonia. The results showed that the implementation of the set had positive effects on the speech of all the subjects, indicating that the set is a very useful resource in speech therapy for children with cleft lip and palate
and hyperrhinophonia.
