Abstract
The article studies different perspectives of Entrepreneurial University. Firstly, it provides an overview of EU strategic documents which are highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial education. In terms of global market and economy, which is increasingly based on knowledge, economic success of any society depends on its ability to establish a comparative advantage in this domain. For competitiveness, growth and employment as well as for equality and social inclusion, it is of utmost importance to create a “knowledge triangle” of education, research and innovation. Higher education institutions must respond to the needs of the environment – people, labour market and society as a whole. Further, this article provides different views on Entrepreneurial University. After presenting various Entrepreneurial University concepts and studies it finally provides a process-based Model of Entrepreneurial University.
