Abstract
Muscle strains account for the majority of sport-related injury. Muscle strains are caracterized by pain, tenderness, swelling, decreased range of motion of the associated joint and loss of muscle strenght. In mild and moderate grade of muscle strains ultrasound like therapeutic agent in physical therapy can be used. It is usefull to known mechanisms of injury and the cellular processes that are taking place in injured muscle. In this paper therapeutic possibilities various forms of ultrasound application by muscle strains are presented.
