Abstract

The use of Heat 2000 software based on Glaser's iterative method for calculating heat transfer and water vapor diffusion through manmade structures is presented. The results are provided in form of tables and charts. Current developments in this field, both in European countries and worldwide, are summarized. In conclusion, it is indicated that modeling of building-physics problems relating to water vapor diffusion through porous materials is undertaken in order to make a more rational use of energy resources.
