Abstract

In the introduction biomechanics is covered stating the Wolf's and Roux's law and Pauwels contribution to advancement of functional orthopedics is emphasized. In the 21st century considering new Technologies connected wirh sitting position, along with the heritage and nutrition also the hypomobility becomes a significant factor of risk in development and relapse of osteoporosis. A kinesiological treatment of patient with osteoporosis in acute, paintful phase and also program of secundary and tertiary prevention in advanced phase of the illness
is recomended. Couterincications for kinesiological treatment of patients with osteoporosis are started, having mind the holistic approach to the patient. Regular and continous exercise are started, having in the mind the holistic approach to the patient. Regular and continuos excersise is justified, especialy by loads in cycles with intensity and frequency within physiological limits concerning age, sex and Health comunication. Isometric exercises put more uniform burden on locomotor system, a nd are more effective then classic isometric exercises under weight. The necessity of creating the "bridge of confidence" between patient , physical terapist, pharmacologist and a physician is pointed out. In the year 2000 the First year of "The decade of bones of the joint" by common efforts of the patient, health workers, ecconomists and potiticians the unique program of primary, secundary and tertiary prevention of "the sillent epidemic of osteoporosis" should be created.
