Abstract
In recent times more importance in the production of electrical energy is given to the usage of renewable sources of energy including a solar energy. The solar energy is inexhaustible energy resource. Observing the matter globally there is no country or a state in the whole world which does not possess this resource of energy, which depends on the geographical position and location of a particular country. One of the principal ways of using solar energy is its transformation into the electric energy using photovoltaic (PV) systems. This work has for its main aim to present the influence of location, that is to say, its geographical location and its overall annual production of electrical energy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This work presents simulated production of electrical energy of fixed photovoltaic system 1kW of power for different parts in Bosnia and Herzegovina on annual level. Comparative analysis of accumulated results is used. For a purpose of simulation, online software PVGIS (Photovoltaic Geographic Information System) is used.
