Abstract
The paper presents various possibilit i cs of application of modula ted currcnts bv
means of specially prepared electrodes in the form or glon:s made of conductivc
rubber of low specific resistance (yugoslav product) for elcctrothcrapy of lcsinns of
dis tal parts of motor ncrves on hands.
This way of application nf clcctrothcrapysubstitutes in a good degree the previous
two-station baths and represents a further achievement in the rationalization of the
method.
According to the smaller number. so far, of the treated IC!\ ions of motor nerves as
well as the caused lesseningofahility in some dcscases (diabctc:- mell i t us and the like)
the efficacy is good and the results satisfactory.
The application of these electrodes in practice is simple and the contact with the
skin is achieved a wet cotton glove and the source of energy is a universal stim ula tor.
The results are being observed at the cases indicated for this therapy and the
further modifications of the application of the method is being carried out in order
to make the patients as confortable as possible during the electrotherapy.
