Abstract

Circulating tumor cells (CTC) most likely play a key role in mediating the formation metastasis. CTCs travel through the blood stream and lymphatic system. Today Hypotheses of many researches are that CTCs will go to distant places in different organs and tissues. They have to survive in a foreign microenvironment and then proliferate, thus creating a microscopic than macroscopic, and then clinically significant neoplastic growths.
